Magic Part 2I awoke, groggy, I was lying in my master’s tent, as temporary residences go, it wasn’t that bad, far better than my own thrown together hovel, I looked at my hands, normal, i sighed with relief and managed to prop myself up. A man and a woman slept beside my makeshift bed, a massive white tiger lay on the ground beside the woman, saddled, a large re-curve bow lent against the beast, it’s yellow eyes watched the boy, emotionless. The man slept in full armour, he was young, but had a silver longsword in a sheath, an indication of his rank of strike leader. He snored softly, and shifted slightly, ‘bad dreams,’ I tMagic Part 2

Magic Part 1Beads of sweat poured down my face as I recited the words to the spell. Lightning flashed from my hands, lighting the darkness as it travelled into the midst of the hordes below. My master would have congratulated me if he wasn’t reciting his own spell he roared the final words and pillars of fire sprung down from the heavens. He doubled over as he hacked up blood, his face contorted in pain. I began reciting another spell, hands trailing through the air as the runes sparkled silver in the night. The CreatureA darkness dawned On earth a blight, That roams the streets In darkest night.The Creature
It’s razor claws It’s putrid stench, It’s matted fur It reeks of death.
With but a sound A life snuffed out, So quickly they fall With barely a shout.
It drags it’s victims Into it’s lair, Bereft of life Exuding despair.

Darkest night.Michael was only a few inches taller than his opponent, but his stance made him look a lot shorter, his black cloak had a few cuts and so did he, nothing serious, but enough to give him some trouble. His opponent held a thin longsword, and looked like a master; he used an advanced stance, with the longsword pointed at the ground and stared Michael in the face. His blade sprung towards Michael lashing out, Michael blocked with the dagger in his left hand and rolled to the left hand rear of his opponent, he retrieved a second dagger from his cloak and struck out with this as he rolled, but the swordsman had whipped his sword around to bloDarkest night.
